The “Seraphic Feather” artbook comes in two volumes in a slipcase.
In the first (red) volume, all drawings are in black and white. It includes illustrations for the magazine “Monthly Afternoon”, sketches for color drawings and signatures.
The second volume is in color. It contains beautiful large format (over Din A4) pictures. In part, it is the cover drawings of “Seraphic Feather” in part but also drawings that date back to the time as a hentai artist.
However, most of both volumes are dedicated to Kei and M-Zak.
Both volumes of “SeRaPhIc FeAtHeR Illustrations” together provide a nice overview of the erotic art of Hiroyuki Utatane.
However, I miss a little the comments of the artist to his work, as is the case in other artbooks.

Das “Seraphic Feather”-Artbook kommt in zwei Bänden in einem Schuber daher.
In dem ersten (roten) Band sind alle Zeichnungen in Schwarz-Weiß. Er umfasst Illustrationen für das Magazin “Monthly Afternoon”, Skikzzen für Farbzeichnungen und Vorzeichungen.
Der zweite Band ist in Farbe. In ihm sind schöne großformatige (über Din A4) Bilder enthalten. Zum Teil sind es die Coverzeichungnen von “Seraphic Feather” zum Teil aber auch Zeichungen, die noch aus der Zeit als Hentai-Zeichner stammen.
Der größte Teil beider Bände ist jedoch Kei und M-Zak gewidmet.
Beide Bände von “SeRaPhIc FeAtHeR illustrationen” bieten zusammen einen schönen Überblick über die erotische Kunst von Hiroyuki Utatane.
Allerdings vermisse ich ein wenig die Kommentare des Küstlers zu seinem Werk, wie es in anderen Artbooks der Fall ist.
